NOPEC Gas Rates Locked in Through August 2012
We are very pleased to announce that NOPEC has locked in gas rates from November 2011 through the end of August 2012. These rates are lower than the prices we have seen in several years.
The prices are as follows:
Dominion East Ohio Gas Area
- November - December 2011 - $6.27 per MCF
- January through August 2012 - $5.95 per MCF
Columbia Gas Area
- November - December 2011 - $0.636 per CCF
- January through March 2012 - $0.632 per CCF
- April through July 2012 - $0.596 per CCF

Leaving NOPEC
NOPEC is a public entity that makes no profit and attempts to get you the very best price with no cost to you or your community. Any NOPEC customer, however, may leave NOPEC's gas program at any time at no cost to the customer. We caution NOPEC customers that should they go to another supplier, and subsequently wish to return to NOPEC, the enrollment process can take several months after cancelling with the previous supplier.
